The idea of Ortega Nursery was thought of in 1999, by Carlos Ortega Sr., a man whose vision was bold enough to survive some of the most challenging moments in Cuban history. After migrating to Miami, Florida the nursery dream became a reality when Carlos established the first location in 2001 as Ortega Nursery Corporation. A few years later in 2013 we branched out into Krome Avenue as Ortega Nursery Farms making this our second location. Working alongside Carlos Ortega Sr., is his daughter and granddaughter making it the 2^nd and 3^rd generation. With three generations and counting the nursery is operating at its best. When you visit any of our locations, you will find yourself surrounded by flourishing fields built by a family with hard work, determination and love for agriculture. Through the years we have gained respect and trust from our customers firmly establishing Ortega Nursery as one of the leading agriculture businesses in the Miami area. We take pride in offering high quality products. Our goal is to continue the tradition of providing family-friendly service and a healthy assortment of palm trees, fruit trees, foliage and hedging to all our customers.
